The Étude 47-E pairs a maple body with a spruce resonance ceiling, and its widened resonance body gives a powerful, clear sound that fills both intimate rooms and larger halls. Projection is excellent, the tone is full and warm, and the look is elegant in its light natural finish.

Full pedal harp range across 47 strings, from top  G to 7th octave C, and at 187cm and just 34kg, it is remarkably light for a full concert harp: easier to move, easier to play, and kinder on shoulders between rehearsal rooms.

And this instrument is unique in our stock: strung with Aquillacorde strings instead of the standard gut, a rich, even voice across the whole compass, with the dependable clarity that has made Aquillacorde a favourite among professional players. Also vegan friendly and much more affordable and reliable than gut.
