CAMBRIAN HARP FESTIVAL 2026
A fabulous day of workshops where harp specialists will join us here in Llanrhystud
choose a morning session of Master Class with Kathryn Rees (suitable for established students) or a workshop with Luke Webb
choose an afternoon session of Luke Webb Irish Harp or Welsh Harp with Elin Y Delyn (suitable for all levels)
evening concert featuring Luke Webb and Cambrian Harp Ensemble and friends.
Cost is just £50 for a full day of workshops at our studio and £10 for the Gala Concert at Llanrhystud Village Hall. Full directions will be given on booking and we have a caravan site right opposite !

Luke Webb is an exciting young Irish Traditional Harpist with a background in classical training on the Harp. Having graduated from TU Dublin Conservatory of Music and Drama’s Bachelor of Music programme specializing in Pedagogy, Luke furthered his studies and graduated from their Masters in Performance programme. Luke has performed and taught at an array of spectacular venues and festivals
He will teach two workshops one for beginner adults in the morning and one for more established teens and tweens in the afternoon.
Kathryn has been a tutor at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama for the past fourteen years, specialising in harp technique. Past and current students have achieved great success at competitions both nationally and internationally.
After graduating from the Royal Northern College of Music, Kathryn studied her Masters in Harp Performance and Literature at the Eastman School of Music, Rochester, New York. She completed her studies on a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholarship. After a season as Principal Harp at the Heidelberg Opera Festival, Kathryn worked as a freelance orchestral harpist in New York state and taught as Senior harp instructor at the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan.
Kathryn will be giving our teens and tweens a masterclass in the morning and offering them a chance to ask questions about life at music college.
Elin Lloyd (Elin Y Delyn) is a professional harpist and teacher with a difference specialising in modern and popular music as well as a full range of stunning Classical and Welsh music. She will be leading a fun Welsh music workshop for our adult learners.
Our Gala concert will feature Luke Webb and Cambrian Harp Ensemble with Elin Lloyd and our festival participants!
